The Asana Work Graph

The Asana Work Graph® is a data model system that allows complex organizations to understand the impact and relation between teams and their work. The Work Graph is a VR experience, with its first beta launched at the 2024 Work Innovation Summit, San Francisco. The animation I produced served as an intro to the experience. It was displayed at the Work Graph® demo booth.

The VR experience

For a cohesive experience, we used the VR experience as a reference for the animation. We relied on a restrained color palette, with deep blue as the primary tone, and simplified the Work Graph® structure.

The storyboard

The designer and I sketched out a storyboard based on the script. Key phrases were shown on screen so viewers could follow when the sound was off. Some sections of this storyboard were cut down in order to align with the overall timing.
